Sharing the POWER space with a team of 60 who’s geographical presence spans 2000 km was a powerful example of how POWER transcends typical approaches to multinational team offsite activities, to deliver a truly inclusive, deeply connecting space of psychological safety.
“No one in the team will look at their fruit bowl and not be taken back to this day; impactful, insightful, creative, nourishing and calming.”
Paul Alcock, Senior Programme Manager at JLR
Borne out of Elaine’s curiosity to find out more about JLR’s Walk & Talk initiative – led by Paul – first seen on LinkedIn, the pair discovered a mutual passion for starting conversations that could save a life and connected over highly-personal symbols of their own mental and physical health challenges.
POWER for the All Hands Offsite at JLR was an example of the power of curiosity and vulnerability from the outset.
We transformed Ashorne Hill, close to Leamington Spa – a site for residentials, conferences and meetings – with calm and peaceful POWER Yin, to start the day and, after lunch, a high energy POWER walk in its beautiful grounds, to power the bunch through their afternoon.
The energy, the emotion and the banana words were EXCEPTIONAL (just one of over 120 banana words scribbled on bananas during the day).
And when the group was asked for their Wellbeing Wants, and what they most enjoyed during the day, the power of their feedback when we weren’t in the room confirmed the inimitable POWER shift.

We look forward to continuing our working relationship with JLR, to transform those Wellbeing Wants into reality.
