The POWER Pricing

To do this, we proudly operate an alternative approach to pricing that puts the precious and abundant currency of energy, time, and love at its heart.

When you complete a POWER ‘transaction’ – you ‘buy a ticket’ or you invest in a bespoke POWER experience – it’s an act of love that contributes to what we call ‘bananas currency’, enabling access for someone else (often a stranger; also, an act of love).

It’s a flow that transcends typical ‘transactions’, elevates community and is love.

POWER first advocated a gift economy amongst the bunch, during the COVID pandemic. It was Elaine’s belief that everyone who wanted to, should have access to a safe place of connection without financial barriers. POWER Online operated on a Pay-What-You-Can basis for its duration; reaching over 3,300 people.

It’s with love and thanks to those who embrace this bananas currency that we can continue to offer Pay-What-You-Can to the bunch who access POWER in the community and, where possible, beyond.
