Every movement has a place where it first feels real.

For POWER, that place is a concrete platform overlooking the sea at Bracklesham Bay.

What began with a COURAGE banana and a first bunch in August 2022 has grown into one of the most recognisable POWER experiences. Today, people travel from across the UK and around the world to take part in POWER on the Beach.

For me, POWER on the Beach is where the original vision truly came to life. A chance to bring people together under open skies, moving to music, connecting with each other and being reminded of something we too easily forget: we are part of nature, not separate from it.

Through the summer months, the bunch came together at sunrise two or three times each week. Over time, the ritual became something bigger. People stayed for coffee at GOAT. Friendships formed over breakfast at The Beach. Sauna visits became part of the tradition. New faces became familiar faces. Familiar faces became friends.

One of the things I’m most proud of is that POWER on the Beach is a place where people feel they belong.

That sense of belonging became especially important during the winter months. Determined not to lose the connection the experience had created, POWER on the Beach continued whenever calm, dry days allowed.

Perhaps no moment captures the spirit of the bunch better than Christmas Day 2025.

Christmas can be joyful, but it can also be lonely, complicated or simply different. I wanted to create a space, somewhere open when many places are closed, where anyone who wanted it could find that bunch-family feeling.

What made POWER on the Beach so special was that everyone could enjoy it in their own way. There was no pressure, just a beautiful setting, great company and an experience that brought people together.

As the community grew, so did the reputation of POWER on the Beach.

In 2024, SplashRobe came on board as sponsor, helping to keep community pricing unchanged while supporting an experience that had become a regular part of life for the bunch. Their support showed what can happen when values-aligned businesses choose to invest in community, connection and belonging.

Word of mouth soon travelled far beyond the small coastal village where it all began.

Holiday guests started recommending POWER in guest books. Local holiday lets began suggesting it to visitors. People travelled further and further to attend, often spending longer travelling than they did taking part.

Locals often describe POWER on the Beach as a “window on the world”. From the seat of a static bike overlooking the sea, people see their everyday surroundings through a completely different lens. In just 45 minutes, many discover a new appreciation for a stretch of coastline they may have passed thousands of times before.

What Elaine has created is truly unique. Sea air, epic playlists, bananas and inspiring words of wisdom. POWER has quickly become a true highlight of our weekends, weeks and months.

Not everyone who joins the bunch is on a bike.

Waitlists are common throughout the year, but that rarely stops people taking part. Additional bananas grab a spare set of POWER headphones, scribble messages on bananas and become part of the experience.

It’s spontaneous. It’s playful. It’s community.

Today, the bunch arrives from across the UK and overseas, including Australia, Colombia, Singapore and the British Virgin Islands. What began on a seafront platform in Bracklesham Bay has become a destination experience, powered not by advertising, but by people passing the banana on.

While Bracklesham Bay will always be home, the story of POWER on the Beach is still being written.

A bunch of people.

A moment of courage.

A view of the sea.

This is where it began.

Could you be part of the story?

POWER on the Beach continues to grow thanks to the people, partners and businesses who believe in the power of community.

Whether you’re looking to join the bunch, create a private experience, explore a partnership, or help shape the next chapter of POWER on the Beach, we’d love to start a conversation.
