Sweaty Betty has experienced every POWER offering possible; for their leadership team, their staff, and their charitable foundation. Our work with Sweaty Betty and the Sweaty Betty Foundation is possibly best described using a simple timeline.

May 2022

Elaine and Becky were visiting Brighton for Becky’s daughter Eve’s birthday. They spontaneously decided to go up the i360 tower.

Elaine had one of her ‘manifest’ moments and captured a photo of a banana that Becky happened to have in her bag from POWER the night before (the banana words: HIGH HOPES, imagine). Elaine walked off the i360 pod and into the office below, to ask the question: POWER at the i360?

Elaine sent a message to the Sweaty Betty Foundation, and the two connections sparked a POWER experience first – high-energy, bikes and bananas, 450’ above Brighton.

May 2023

364 days since Elaine asked the initial question; ITV This Morning’s Dr Zoe Williams, Olympian Mica Moore and Tamara Hill-Norton, Sweaty Betty Founder and Chair of the Sweaty Foundation rode alongside an incredible bunch of women, raising £2,500 for the Foundation, and a PR reach of 165,395 with 23,395 engagements.

Sweaty Betty gifted the incredible vivid green that popped against the blue skies and the yellow bananas, and sent their Head Office team to see what the bananas were all about.

August 2023

Three months after the i360, Elaine and Becky were wheeling bikes and bananas into Sweaty Betty Head Office, in London.

Sweaty Betty were looking for new and innovative ways to help their teams live their mission: our strength is in each other.

POWER was asked to be part of their Embrace The Pace programme, in the lead up to the Royal Parks Half – London, in October 2023 – motivation, activities and opportunities to connect with colleagues, away from their screens.

Elaine delivered three high energy POWER experiences, on static bikes, to staff and Melissa Mullen, Global Brand President.

THANK YOU Elaine and Becky for sharing your time, talent and care. Your commitment to everyone who showed up was evident; you made us feel (sparkle) and seen. A superpower!

Global Brand President Sweaty Betty

September 2023

POWER returned to Sweaty Betty Head Office, this time four rides; Melissa asked for an additional ride, so that her Leadership Team could also experience the inimitable POWER shift.

October 2023

POWER at the Royal Parks Half Marathon for Sweaty Betty.

What began as a feat of fundraising for the Sweaty Betty Foundation and half marathon training for both Becky and Elaine, became a POWER team effort of two halves when, Sweaty Betty said, we need bananachat on our cheer mile – part of their brand activation – at the Royal Half Parks Marathon. Elaine took to the megaphone, Becky continued her training, and fundraising continued.

Megaphone? Yes, Elaine was asked to deliver POWER, through a megaphone, whilst standing on a podium with drag queens and dancers, in Trafalgar Square.

Delivering seconds of bananachat, through a megaphone, to 16,000 runners, over three hours, passing through Trafalgar Square was a first for POWER. It worked. It absolutely worked.

“Elaine, your words were inspiring even to those of us who weren’t running – such power”.

Angharad Carter-Clout
SVP of Finance at Sweaty Betty

The moment when Becky (the original POWER runner, now running the show with Elaine, and on that day, running as part of Team Sweaty Betty) passed through the cheer mile, and the pair were reunited, is a bananas memory they’ll both cherish.

February 2024

Continuing its support for the Sweaty Betty Foundation, into 2024, Elaine was asked to join a Women in Business panel talk, at Battersea Power Station, alongside Tamara Hill Norton, Founder of Sweaty Betty and Chair of the Sweaty Betty Foundation and Melissa Mullen, Global Brand President.

The panel talk was a celebration of the sisterhood for International Women’s Day 2024, raising money and awareness for the Sweaty Betty Foundation.

Having spoken to a friend about the dream of ‘POWER at Battersea Power Station’, Elaine threw out the idea of following the panel talk with POWER X These Girls Run, delivering high energy POWER off-static bikes.

Elaine delivered her bananachat over a high-energy POWER playlist to a bunch of 60 people moving together – running, walking, dancing – against the backdrop of Battersea’s iconic chimneys, flashing headphones and bananas.

“Brilliant. Didn’t want to give those headphones back.”

March 2024

We were asked us to deliver a ‘palate cleanser’ for the Sweaty Betty Senior Leadership Team, shifting mindsets to a state of clarity and peace, at the start of their offsite.

The brief was to deliver an uplifting, energising and connecting start to the day. POWER Yin delivered exactly that, overlooking Oxford Circus, the BT Tower and beyond; and finished with some releasing dragon breaths, roaring over the rooftops of London.

“Thanks so much, Becky, for your beautifully curated session. It went really well and the team said it was one of the best offsites they’ve attended since joining Sweaty Betty, and your word ‘connected’ set the tone for the whole two days.”
